Find a California Community College (CCC) near you and apply for admission. You can start at CCC's official page at icangotocollege.com.🔮 Plan ahead
Depending on your community college, desired major, or target UC, you may be able to utilize an existing UC transfer program. Learn more about the UC transfer programs.
UC Transfer Programs:
- Transfer Pathways: if you know your desired major, a transfer pathway roadmap may exist for it.
- Transfer Admissions Guarantee (TAG): steps for guaranteed admission to any one of the UCs (except UC Berkeley, UCLA, & UCSD).
- Pathways+: a combination of TAG and Transfer Pathways that leads to a headstart when you arrive at UC.
- UCLA's Transfer Alliance Program: enhanced ability to transfer to UCLA from participating CCCs.
Note: The above programs are not MANDATORY for transferring. These programs just make the transfer process simpler for you.
